Main Airport Liszt Ferenc - the airport has two terminals:
Liszt Ferenc 2A handles all flights arriving from the Schengen territory.
Liszt Ferenc 2B handles all other flights.
The A and B terminals are located next to each other, within walking distance.

Transfers The airport is 24 km from Budapest ; travel time to city centre is
approx 40-55 minutes depending on traffic

Immigration Visitors require a current passport valid for a minimum of 6 months. Residents of the United Kingdom do not require visas when visiting Hungary.

Health Advice First-Aid and ambulance treatment will be provided free of charge for emergency cases.

Health Insurance – the UK has reciprocal agreements with Hungary for the provision of urgently needed medical treatment at reduced cost or, in some cases, free. Visitors are, however, advised to have medical insurance cover.

No specific vaccinations are required for travellers to Hungary direct from the UK. Drinking water from taps is safe to drink.
