Climate The climate in Brazil varies considerably from one region to another. Winter is from June to September. Spring is short as is Autumn. Winters can be cool and cloudy in Sao Paulo with milder climate in Rio. Summers are hot and can be wet from November to February.
Local time GMT - 3 hours. In summer when the UK is on daylight saving time, the difference is 4 hours but in winter when the UK is on GMT and Brazil is on daylight saving time the difference is only 2 hours.
Electricity Most states use 110V, but some states in the north and some hotels use 220-240V and the connection is made either by a two or three pin plug.
